  2. Minimum System Requirements -

  4. 200 mhz Power Mac running at least system 8.0
  5. Pentium II 200 mhz or better
  6. 32 MB of RAM (64 MB preffered)
  7. QuickTime 3 or later

  10. INTERNET CONNECTION/WEB BROWSER -
  11.  
  12. Our Internet link is designed to work with your
  13. operating system (OS). If  your OS has a standard setup,
  14. your web browser should open automatically when the
  15. "Web Page" button is clicked from our program.
  16. An Internet connection should simultaneously be initiated.
  17. You must have your own Internet provider, we do not
  18. provide this service.

  20. If your browser window opens but stays in the background,
  21. quit and restart your browser.  
  22.  
  23. Macintosh: If you get a -108 error "not enough memory"
  24. turn you virtual memory on and set it to at least 64M.

  27. PERFORMANCE TIPS -
  28.  
  29. This presentation contains several minutes of digital 
  30. video and is going to play best on computers with 30 MB 
  31. (64 MB system) or more of free RAM, but it will run with a 
  32. little delay on computers with only 16 free MB (32 MB system).
  33.  
  34. Our software can be very demanding on your
  35. system.  We do not recommend multitasking or
  36. launching other applications while our program is
  37. running.
  38.  
  39. This presentation will automatically attempt to set your 
  40. monitor's color depth to the highest possible setting.  If you 
  41. still notice the display being blocky, quit the application and
  42. set your monitor to the highest possible color depth.

  45. BUGS AND OTHER PROBLEMS -
  46.  
  47. We have worked hard to make our CD-ROM bug-free
  48. and easy to use. There may still be some problems that
  49. you could encounter. If you are having problems, first
  50. check to see that your computer is set up properly and
  51. review some of the suggestions in this README file.
  52.  
  53. If you are convinced that everything is OK with your
  54. computer setup, you may have discovered a bug or
  55. design problem.  If so, we'd like to hear about it.
  56. Please send e-mail to nobugs@signalccd.com with 
  57. the word "bug" in the subject box.

  59. Describe the problem in as much detail as you can.
  60. Describe where and how it happened. Please include 
  61. all the details about your computer (e.g. 486 66DX2
  62. GATEWAY Computer Model xxx, a display card, sound
  63. card, DOS version, Windows version). Given the variety
  64. of different combinations of equipment and software,
  65. as it can be difficult to diagnose the problem without the
  66. information describing your system. Your bug report
  67. will help make our future projects better.
